Ice Wonderland – Ice Hockey Activity (2011-12-18)

On 18 December, 2011, HKAIH was invited to hold a one-hour ice hockey activity on the outdoor rink. We believe this was a great opportunity to show people in Hong Kong – a diversified city, a different kind of sport on ice.

There were 12 HKAIH students from the Novice team that participated in this activity. They were all excited to experience skating, doing drills and playing short games on the first ever outdoor ice rink in Hong Kong. Thank you to Sino Group as well as the Hong Kong Tourism Board for giving us an opportunity to try the rink and helping to make this event a success.

「冰紛樂園」戶外冰場體驗（2011年12月18日）

由信和集團贊助，香港旅遊發展局特別呈獻的「冰紛樂園」,位於尖沙咀東市政局百周年紀念花園，是全港首個室外設置的真雪溜冰場。「冰紛樂園」在聖誕節期間，由2011年11月25日至2012年1月1 日期間開放給市民溜冰。

而本校很榮幸接受信和集團的邀請，於2011年12月18日在「冰紛樂園」進行了一小時的冰球示範活動並開放給公眾觀賞。「冰紛樂園」是全港首個戶外真雪冰場，在聖誕節期間開放給市民溜冰。香港是一個多元化城市，本校相信藉著這次機會在戶外冰場示範冰球，可以讓更多市民認識冰球－除了溜冰以外的冰上運動。

當晚一共有12名香港冰球訓練學校初班（Novice）學生參與活動。對於有機會在戶外冰場打冰球小孩們都感到十分興奮，亦吸引了很多市民圍觀。學生在冰場上進行了簡單的滑冰､傳球熱身後舉行小型比賽。感謝信和集團及香港旅遊發展局的協助，讓是次活動順利舉行。
